RENEWING OF THE MIND
Paul wrote to the Romans, “be not conformed to THIS world but be transformed by the renewing of the mind so that you can prove the perfect will of God for your life.” He also warned the Corinthians about casting down imaginations and thoughts that could exalt themselves ABOVE the knowledge of God. Paul implied that all thoughts could be “captured” and brought into obedience to the will of God. We know the general will of God from His word. However, it is the Holy Ghost Who provides the direction of our individual lives once our minds have been renewed.
Therefore, a renewed mind precedes knowing what God’s will for US is.
So I suggest to you that discovering the will of God for your life involves a renewal. There are some key points that I would like to underscore:
Once we discover what we need to learn about our own inner struggles, there are other people who will need our testimony and our influence so that that too can be victorious. A major purpose of struggling is that we can become consolers of those who are struggling in those areas where we have become triumphant. By planting new seeds of power into our minds, old patterns and habits will be destroyed by the resurrection power of the Holy Ghost. In a symbolic context, the seeds are as Jesus said. They are the words of fruitbearing power.
At Sheppard’s Counseling Center, ministers are trained in a unique deliverance mentoring program called SEW, Spiritual Empowerment Workshop. The principles of the SEW Program are presented in the book “Recovery In Christ.” These are ministers who have overcome torment, walked on hot sand, and survived. From domestic violence, to rape, to incest, to alcoholism, to parents and grandparents who were practicing witchcraft, these men and women are overcomers. They have a testimony that you need. False conversions. I call them “counterfeit births.” I suspect that false conversions are the major sign of the great falling away. Clearly, it is rather obvious, even to the least spiritual among us in the world and in the religious world that there is certainly something wrong when there exists such a state of utter religious confusion and doctrinal mumbo jumbo. An understanding of today’s dilemma was prophesied by the Apostle Paul in his revelation to Timothy when Paul wrote that in the last days, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.
Evidently, the primary demonic strategy is deception. Deception is the first stage of the falling away process. One of the goals of this blog is to un-complicate things. So I personally took the first step of self-examination. Once I discovered that there is a fake Jesus, the first thing that I did was to confront the issue of my own salvation, head on. Since it was so supernatural in nature, after more than two decades, I asked myself “Pam, are you REALLY saved? I did what Paul recommended to the Corinthians as recorded in II Cor. 13:5: I examined myself to see if I be in the faith. I proved my self. I examined myself to see if Jesus Christ be IN me.
Now to be IN me is not a physical or a soulical thing. Jesus is not IN my heart because my heart is a part of my soul. No, by the power of the Holy Ghost, He is in my spirit. I examined myself by John 15, to see if there is any fruit in my life. What is fruit? I will address that in yet another post. However, there were 3 things I looked for. Did I experience godly sorrow that worked repentance in me. Did I see my own sinful nature? Was I drawn to the cross or led to the Lord’s sacrifice by the Holy Ghost. Did I understand the resurrection the day I was saved. I realized that I have to first understand it in order to believe that a dead man lives in a physical body, who is now seated at the right hand of God.
I knew BEFORE I even examined my salvation that I was born again. However, I examined it ANYWAY.
So what do you do about a false conversion. You start with YOU. More in part 2.

Posted in Apostle John, loaves and fishes, mark of the beast, rapture, tribulation
To me, that question is a no-brainer. Why would the Lord warn the last generation of His people about the tribulation, if they were not going to go through it? Some respond by saying that we don’t have to prepared for the tribulation because we will be raptured. I personally believe that the rapture is a false doctrine. Most church generations never even heard of it until it was concocted by some Catholic Jesuit a few centuries ago.
So why do I believe that we should prepare? Well, it looks to me that we may very well BE that last generation. The Apostle John’s revelation suggests that during the reign of the Anti-Christ, unless we accept the mark of the beast, whatever THAT is–we will not be able to buy or sell. Anyway, money is going to continue to loses its value and the remnant may have to survive by stocking up and bartering with each other.
Other’s of us say, “Well, I don’t have to prepare because the Lord will provide for His people supernaturally.I certainly know that to be the truth. When I was unemployed in the 70′s, I’d find money laying in the street and food in my refrigerator that I didn’t put there. So I personally know about the supernatural provision of the Lord. However, another way that He “provides” is by warning His people ahead of time to “stock up.” Remember Joseph in Egypt? Remember how God warned him of the 7 year famine and told him to stock up grain while it was still available? I believe that the supernatural power of the loaves and fishes miracle that manifested in the Lord’s earthy ministry will be available to His people who must “go through.” However, miracles operated according to the will of the Holy Ghost. I can’t plan on a miracle.
Recently, I have had 3 spiritual reminders, the last one was a very clear dream. One day, we are going to look up and the electricity will be down, the water will be contaminated and the supermarket will be closed. How and why does this happen? I don’t know. I just saw that it WILL happen. We just had Hurricane Irene pass through my town and we were warned for a few days before she hit us. I was blessed to have been sitting in a spot where Irene passed like just a rainy day. However, just a block away, power was down, and a few miles away was devastation that people are still recovering from. One of the things I did not like was that I said to myself, “Better go get a flash light.” Well, they were ALL gone, from EVERY store.
Irene provided me with my personal sign. Prepare ahead of time!!!! Also, Irene is my middle name and the name of my beloved grandmother.
In my latest book, “the New Idolatry,” you will find these words:
“I perceive some basic principles that can be gleaned from an exploration of how God delivered His people out of the hands of
Pharoah to understand how He will also deliver the remnant elect out of the hands of the Antichrist when He opens the 7 vial and the 7 seal judgments outlined by the Apostle John in the book of Revelation. These judgments or plagues are listed in the 8th chapter: earthquakes, the sea becomes blood, 1/3 of the creatures of the sea die, 1/3 of the rivers and waters are contaminated, darkness with 1/3 of the light turned off of the moon, the sun and the stars, locusts that torment the unsaved for 5 months, and 1/3 of men killed by war. Endtime plagues certainly bear noticeable similarities to the 10 wonders that came upon Egypt, ie. the contamination of water, weather disturbances, death of sea creatures, darkness, and death, with God’s people being protected.”

Christ and the spirit, I accept Jesus, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, repentance, salvation, the Holy Ghost, wilderness experience, work of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Ghost has been reduced to what charismatics, pentecostals and word of faithers call “the anointing.” To most of this crowd, the Holy Ghost is “an it” that causes them to have goosebumps as they fall out slain in the spirit, speak in a language that no one can understand, and “get drunk in the spirit.” However, He is so much more than that.
As a Person and not “a feeling,” the Holy Ghost speaks, teaches, witnesses, guides, comforts, convicts, commands, helps, converts, imparts faith to believe, brings the fear of the Lord and imparts godly sorrow to help a sinner repent. He can be obeyed, lied to, resisted, grieved, quenched, quenched, insulted and blasphemed. The work of the Holy Spirit on earth is similar to that of the Lord’s earthly ministry. As Jesus lived to lift up and glorify the Father, the Holy Spirit’s workk centers on lifiting up the Son of God, Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The Father also glorifies the Son. The Holy Ghost is the Sspirit of Christ and the Spirit of the Father. All three Persons are One. As our Teacher of spiritual truths, the Holy Spirit will enligten your mind with insignts into the mind of Christ as He unlocks the spiritual doorways to the secret things of God.
Just as the Holy Ghost drove Jesus into the wilderness to do battle with the devil, He does the same with the elect of God. The Holy Ghost not only wants you to know the godhead. He wants you to know your enemy and so He will arrange your wilderness experience, tailor made to what you need to find out. He knows that it is crucial that you be not ignorant to demonic deception, for the demons have access to our very souls.
Therefore, it is imperative that we learn how to tell the difference between what is spiritual, what is demonic and what is soulish or carnal. The Holy Ghost is the Helper and as such, He provides us with self knowledge as long as we don’t grieve Him. Self knowledge equips us to be able to discern thoughts and feelings that are alien to our character and personality. Demons love to snare their prey with half truths rather than with complete lies because a half truth can set a more believable trap. You say to yourself, if this is true, then THAT must be true, and then you are trapped. This is the scheme that is the foundation of all false religions. There is at least ONE truth about God in all of them, perhaps more.
Nevertheless, 99% of truth is no truth at all. It is a lie. The Holy Ghost is 100 percent truth and there are no lies in Him. 99% of truth is a setup from the devil. Since our human struggle with the evil side of the spirit world is a daily event, and since Jesus revealed that the Holy Ghost is 100 percent truth, we need to resist grieving Him. For Jesus said that the Holy Ghost will reveal truth as to what is to come. In the times in which we live, we are helpless without the Holy Ghost.
How do we grieve the Holy Ghost? Well, when we actually believe that WE lead people to Jesus Christ, we grieve the Holy Ghost. All we do is preach and testify, as led by the Holy Ghost to do so. The Holy Ghost does the rest. He knows who will be saved from who will be damned. He is the one who dispatches angels to set up our wilderness experiences that He will use to draw us to the cross. He is the one who provides faith to believe on the Son of God and His bodily resurrection. You might call the Holy Ghost “THE MINISTER OF SALVATION.” So He is certainly grieved when we take the credit for our own salvation when we boast “I ACCEPTED Jesus.” He is more than grieved with this. He is angry. Perhaps that is why religious demons have been allowed to enter those who have said “Jesus, come into my heart.”
Resurrection life—the same power the Holy Ghost used to raise the Lord from the dead—will be evident when you experience revelation, power, and discernment under the guidance and instruction of the Holy Ghost. Revelation is to receive God’s own personal knowledge and wisdom about YOUR life. Power is His supernatural ability applied to YOUR human frialty. We cannot do without the resurrection life of the Holy Ghost in times like these.
